My grandmother migrated to Australia via Harbin in the early 1900's. She had a sister Rachael Simkin who was married to Grigori (Gershon) Aronovich Eskin. This could have been George Eskin. He owned a store under the Eskin name in Harbin. His children mostly moved to the USA:-
