My paternal grandfather, Carl Eskin, emigrated to the United States from the Kiev area around 1900 and settled in Newark, New Jersey. He married Rose Saslow. I have no knowledge of his siblings, but I think that information is available through my cousins.
Carl and Rose had four children who survived infancy. The oldest was Ben, who practiced dentistry for many years at 1 Broad Street in Newark. The next oldest was Henry, who moved to Baltimore, where he was a florist. My father, Albert, also moved to Baltimore and was a dentist there and in Cumberland, Maryland. The youngest was Pearl, who was a teacher and resided in West Englewood, New Jersey.
Ben's daughter, Evelyn, lives in Philadelphia near Rittenhouse Square; she may have access to ancestral information. Pearl's daughter, Pauline, lives in Guelph, near Toronto and is a more likely source of such information.
I'll wait to hear if you are interested in anything more.
