he was from los angeles, california and died in 1981 or 82.

i know he had at least one daughter from another marriage/relationship.

don't know much about him.
i know he had a sister named Ruth and a brother named Tony or Anthony.

my dad is Roy Esquivel he is from fresno. his parents are Eugeno Esquivel and his wife is Isabel Rangel Esquivel Both I believe came here from Brownsville TX.

I am trying to find any information on my grandmother and her family.

Her name is Regina Turnini. She was given the name "Regina" in a covent here in Houston, The Good Shepherd. it is no longer here. Her real name was Antonia Carrillo. They already had a "Toni" so they gave her a new name. She is not sure of her real birthdate. Her birth certificate she got here is dated May 11, 1922. Her real age could be +/- 5-10 years. Her father, Julian Carrillo took her from her mother, Petra (Carrillo?) Esquivel/Esquibel? She remembers crossing some water. he left her at the Houston orphanage/convent and promised to return for her but never did. She heard he went back to Zacatecas, Mexico.

Antonio Esquivel from Tampico ,Mexico. He married and had three siblings: Antonio , Fernando & Pedro. He remarried and had four more siblings: Ernestina ( Tina ) , Angelica, Norma & Alejandro. The First set of children were born in Tampico, But raised in San Antonio and In McAllen, TX. The Second set of siblings were born in McAllen, TX. I am the grandchild of Mr. Antonio Esquivel. Robert "Bobby" V. Esquivel passed away on Friday, January 2, 2004. Bobby was born in Albuquerque on May 8, 1952 to Robert and Soledad EsquIvel. Bobby was in the US Marine Corp. He lived in New Mexico and Nevada. He was a custom cabinetmaker. Bobby is survived by his wife, Sandra; son, Jacob (Vinnett); two daughters, Tracy and Melissa; three sisters, Rachel (Bob), Linda (Andrew) and Anna (Steve); four brothers, R. C. (Hope), Juan, Billy and Timmy; two grandsons, Dominic and Arden; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Rosary will be held at Aspen Funeral Alternatives at 1935 Juan Tabo NE at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 8, 2004. Funeral Mass will be held at Sangre de Cristo Catholic Church at 8901 Candelaria Rd NE at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, January 9, 2004 with burial following at San Jose de Armijo Cemetary on Arenal and Coors.
