A biography/family history, with additional information, is included in "Montana, Its Story and Biography", Vol 2. It was written later than "Progressive Men of the State of Montana" and includes the information that on 6 Apr 1915, Elmer married Miss Lottie Hardy, born in Iowa and graduated from Minneapolis high school. He had previously been married, 31 Dec 1890, to Laura C. Kagy, born in Illinois, daughter of John M. Kagy of Bozeman, MT.

I'm looking for an old friend - Jeanette Esselstyne who is probably around 50 y. old. she has lived in DC & CA And I think also CO.
She has changed her name to Laura... but I don't know the last name she is using...
Any help would be appreciated!

Maizie Esselstyne, Strickler, Sullivan, etc.

Please help us find Maizie. Perhaps you know
or have known her. Maizie was probably born
sometime between May 9 and July 24, 1904. We
believe she was born in California. Due to
the breakup of her marriage in San Francisco
in 1928, Maizie went from our family and has
never been heard from since. But now, 70
years later, she has many descendants and we
are all very curious to know whatever became
of Maizie.
