There are several postings on this Board that are related to me, but the email addresses given seem to be out of date. I am a descendant of Jacob Esser born in Derichsweiler in the Rhineland in 1788. He had two sons, Franz (Frank) and Heinrich (Henry). The whole family left Schmidt, Prussia in 1851 and emigrated to the Milwaukee area. Frank married Anna Logic and had two sons - George and Joseph. Henry married Barbara Schaaf and had seven children - Henry, John, Maria Barbara, Anna Elizabeth, George, Anna Maria and Frank.. Joseph Esser was a co- founder of the Kunzelmann-Esser Furniture store in Milwaukee. Would like to communicate with other members of this family tree. I have fairly complete ancestry on the family back in Germany.
