I have a family in my lineage that is a mystery to all of us. I am actually researching the surname Eskew. I have a Lizzie
Eskew b. 1871 in Dalton, Whitfield Co., GA, dau. of William J. Eskew and Sarah A. Janis. Lizzie married James Lee Esslinger who was born in Tennessee about 1870.

Chattooga Co. GA District 19 with his parents on page 12, enum. distr. 19, enumerated on the 7th of June 1880. James Lee Esslinger is 10 years old.

I find it very interesting that there is an Abigail Smith living with them since my Eskews are related to our Smith line. I'm not sure who Abigail is yet. If you know who any of these people are, please post to the list. I will get the message.
