Sarah Caroline Estel was born c. May 26, 1865. I do not know her parents. She married Allison Franklin Stiffler on Jan. 28, 1884 in Lick Twp., Jackson Co., OH. She also died there on Mar. 19, 1896 at the age of 30 years, 9 months, 23 days. She was my great grandmother. Any information will be appreciated.

My ancestor, William Estle, was from Monmouth Co, NJ. He was married to Abigail Little. They had a daughter, Ann Maria, born Feb 1816 in New Jersey. My direct ancestor was their son, Thomas Little Estle. There were younger children also. They moved to Ohio abt 1816. If this fits in with your Anna Maria, get back in touch.

My name is Jacques Jose Amand ESTAL. I was born in 1948 and I live in France, near Marseilles. My male family is from Spain, near Valencia. My father, Ramon ESTAL, was born in 1913 in Benafer, near Castillon de la Plana, in Spain, and he went to France one year later with his parents. He died in 1972.
I'm married with two daughters, Julie born in 1982 and Laura born in 1986. My wife Mauricette and me are very fond of genealogy. We are teachers (She teaches English and I teach History and Geography).

There are several spellings of Estel, Estle, Estil, Estill, Estell, Estelle seems we are decended from the same family just different spellings over the years. My grandfather on my father's side was Samuel Estel, Sarah ?
My great grandfather was George Estle, grandmother Phoebe Wise ( not sure of the Wise) My grandfather George Estel died in Ohio in 1850, and his wife and children moved to Indiana.

I don't know anything about Ms. Estel but I am a descendent of John Honeyman. He is buried in Bedminster, NJ, was a congregant of Lamington Presbyterian Church and is buried in the cemetery there. I know that his wife and at leats one child are also buried there but do not remember their names.
Have you tried the NJ chapters of the DAR?

Elbert Wayne Estal born in 1912 in Green Mountain
Iowa. I was born in Grinnell Iowa in 1941.
My children are Andy and Sally Estal born
in 1970 and in 1972. I have quite an
extensive set of records of family history
going back to about the year 1800. The
name Estal is supposedly a corruption of
Estel which happened in 1848. My great-
great grandfather John Estal was orphaned
as a child in Ohio. He went with his sisters
to life with an Aunt and Uncle who probably
misspelled their name as Estal. That
family moved by covered wagon to Jasper
county in Iowa (near Marshalltown in the
1850's). Send me an email and we can
share some more into and probably make the
family tree connection

As I understand it my great-great grandfather
was born in Ohio in the late 1840's. He
was an Estel but he was orphaned around
1850 and his name became misspelled to
become Estal. His relatives took him in
and moved to Iowa. I'm always interested

David Nelson Estel. My grandfather is buried
at the Coachella Valley Cemetery. We go
there every year as a family and visit all
of the family's graves. My grandmother,

estel is my maiden name. my fathers name was charles. he also had a sister named jessie jenkins[estel]. his fathers name was frank. my father was born in stuebenville, ohio around 1920, not positive of the year. known relatives in florida, connecticut, california, ohio and possibly illinois or missouri. please e-mail me back with any info.
