Samuel Estill. Son of Wallis Estill & Mary Ann Campbell. Born 10 Sep 1755 in Augusta Co., VA. Died 9 Feb 1837 in Roane Co., TN. Buried 1837 in Day Family Cemetery, between Rockwood and Ozone, TN.

Samuel died at the home of his daughter Ann Day in Roane County, Tennessee. According to Fletcher Burdine, he is buried west of Knoxville, just off of U.S. Highway 70, east of Crab Orchid, Tennessee, at a place called Ozone Falls. He lays on the north side of the highway at a curve of the highway on a hill with some other people.
