hi,
Albert O. Estus was my great-great grandfather. Born in Philadelphia but lived until his death in Little Valley, NY with my gggrandmother, Ida Rastorfer. He was b. 6 July 1846 and d. 1 mar 1931; m. 9 Dec. 1877. Ida (who was a twin to sister Addie) b. 26 June 1861 in Cato, Cayuga County, NY. 3. 20 Oct 1915 in Sugartown, NY.

Let me know if there's anything more I can help you with. I have his father as John Estus and mother as Mary Deborah (no one knows if that's her last name or middle)....then I'm stuck. However, I recently discovered that Albert was a Confederate Prisoner of War so that may explain somehow why finding out about him is difficult....don't know.

Hope this helps,
Barbara Cooper

I have no first hand knowledge of the persons you referene.

However I have spoken with a Thomas Estus and his son Thomas Jr. in the scranton area. If you can find them they may be able to shed some light on your research.

I have been researching my ancester, Albert Orlando Estus, born about 1848, in Cato NY or somewhere in PA. Have you run across that name anywhere? His wife was Ida Rastorer.

They lived in Little Valley, NY until their death.

r/s cre crestus38@compueasy.com
I am looking for information on a Daisy Crow who married a Brose (?) Estes or Estus. They were living in McAllister, Oklahoma about 1961 when Daisy's sister Nancy Medina Crow Anderson died, and the obituary lists her name as Mrs. Brose Estes. There is a Daisy Estus listed on the SSDI as born 1 Oct 1885 and died in Aug of 1973 with last residence of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, OK, and the year of birth fits the Daisy Crow Estes I am looking for.

If anyone has any information on the above, please contact me.
