Is there an Isaiah Etheridge in your family tree? Isaiah Etheridge, perhaps born in 1807 in Currituck Country NC, was the father of my great-grandfather James Edward Etheridge (1852-1904). Both lived in Norfolk VA by the 1880 census. The family owned and lumbered property property on both sides of the state line. I do not have a spouse's name for Isaiah; the census in 1880 lists only Isaiah and James in the household so perhaps she had already died. I can't track Isaiah back further. Thanks for any assistance.
