I am one of his sons. You have his birth date and year correct. The date of his death is correct but the year is wrong. He died in 1963 not in 1968. He was born in Franklin county.
He is buried in Oakwood cemetary in Mt. Vernon, Il.
His dad;s name was Everett and is buried just north of Sesser.
Curtis had 4 children. Blanch Elaine in Willisville, Il. and Curtis Lee in Steelville, Il. Their mother is Rachel. Linda Lou in Belerive, Il and me, I'm Rollie and live where I hang my hat. Our mother was Dorothy.
Curtis' brothers were: Luther (Rusty), Louie, Everett (Jr.) The 3 of them lived in Sesser and Roy Lee who lived in Zenth. His sister's were Lucy and Alberta. One of the sister's owned a tavern in a small community just north of Christopher near Rachel.
Luther had no children. Louie, I'm not sure. Everett (Jr.) had 3 sons: Larry, Randy and Tommy. He also had 2 daughters: Janet and Jean Ann. All were living in and around Sesser. Roy Lee had 2 sons: Mike and Richie. There was one more boy, Bud, but I'm not sure if he belongs to one of the sisters or was Louie's.
