I am looking for infomation on my Birth Mother. She was born in the summer of 1925 in a Mid-western state. Was of Irish & Cherokee Indian decent. Was told her name was EDNA. Her mother died when she was 5 and she went to live with her maternal grandmother. This was somewhere on a farm in Ohio. Her father died when she was 11. I was told that her great or great-great grandmother was full blood Cherokee Indian. EVANS was a family name. Edna had dark curly hair, hazel eyes with very long eyelashes and a very good posture. She did not like sports but did like to read and sew. She lived in Miami, FL from 1942 - 1947. I was born in 1945. EDNA worked as a bar maid, waitress, babysitter, housekeeper and elevator operator. Only had a 7th grade education.
