Dear Graham, I can't help with Thomas 1800 but the family of James Eve 1725 appears on the Evetree website, which you could check. There is a John Eve 1825 born in Stourbridge, Worcs who appears on the Evetree - I'm not sure which family. An email to David Eve at the Evetree might be worth a try.
