In reply I understand a William Henry & Eliza Evely & their eight children migrated to Australia in 1911 & eventually settled in Bendigo Victoria Australia. This may be the same Evely you are researching. I am related via his brother James Evely whom I believe he came to Australia to join his brother..

My Evely family begins with John W. Evely (1867)from Canada (grandfather) and his wife Martha (1875) from Illnois. John W. parents are from England; Martha's from Illnois and Michigan. John W.'s children include Merle, 1908, Thelma, 1909, Keith, 1911, Phoebe, 1913 and my father Clayborn, 1915.

Any connection to your branch? From my research most Evely's come from England. Let me know what you think. There aren't many of us Evelys around!

Evaly, Evely

My Great Grandfather David Abaly (DOB 1869-Madison, WI) married Molly (Mary) Brandon who was born in 1871. David had a sister whose married name was Elizabeth Sutcliffe. David and Elizabeths parents were Mary Evaly of Providence RI and Constantine Abaly of Boston. Any further help will be gladly appreciated as we can find NO records of Evaly or Abaly farther than this.
