Julia Simpkins Johnson's mother was Fannie Johnson, B; 1963-4
I don't know what Fannie's maiden name was. 1920 census has her and John C. Johnson living at Barnes, Jefferson Co. Fl.
The 1930 census has Fannie, Julia Everette and two boys, James and Andrew living in Barnes. Although the spelling of the Everette name was wrong I'm sure that is James Wm. Everette Sr's widow and her mother. James Wm. Sr. died 1918 during the flu epidemic in Citra, Marion Co, Fl. ans is buried there.

im sorry it took me so long to get back to this.. i got kind of burned out on the searching and just got back into it again... im searching for edson/edison everitt b. 8.21.1829 pos NY married rhoda colburn. they had 8 children one of the sons, francis, is my 2nd gt grandfather. edsons father was abraham b. 12.28.1801 NY married mary (polly) bush. they had 9 children including edson which is my 3rd gt grandfather.. i recently got this info from another person on the rootsweb site. they sent me the lineage of "my" everitt's back to before/around 1776. if you would like for me to send u the lineage of what i have ur more then welcomed to it.. my email adress is char_kubas@msn.com.. thank u for replying...

My grandfather was Thomas Franklin Everette of Alabama. Not sure where he was born or even his parents name. He was in the insurance and hotels business there. Married Elizabeth Via Hall. They had two children Elizabeth Gay and Thomas Franklin jr. My grandfather had a sister named Julia. She never married. She was employed by the FBI in DC for many years and established a resort in Florida called River Ranch Acres. There was another brother, however we are not sure of his name. They had native American Bloodline and French. They prided themselves on the spelling of Everette with an "E" at the end.
Anyone with information on this family would be greatly appreciated.

Am trying to locate relatives of Walt Everette and his son, Will, who lived in Mississippi-possibly Magnolia, MaCombs or Pike County. Walt and Will both died in the early 1930's. My grandfather was named A. L. Everette. He kived on a farm in Portales. NM. He had two sons by his first wife- A.L. who died in Oregon and is buried in the Dalles. OR cemitary. He had another son S.E.Everette who lives in Farmington. NM and is my father. By his second wife. he had three sons-johnny(dead). Kelly(lives in Alaska), and Joe(lives in Florida?), and a daughter-Mary(lives in Aztec, NM. I remember a Grandmother Holliway who lived in O,Donnell, Texas. I suspect we are related in some way. She married Lemuel Elisha Bettis(Leon)in Ms on 16 Mar 1890. According to a MS census record she had a sister,Minnie, abd a niece ( I can't recall her name), living with my grandparents in Water Vally,MS. Hi Rex, Guess it's not a match as we are white, as was my grandmother. My grandfather worked for the railroad, he was from Ala. around Clarke Co.He was killed in a train yard accident before I was born. I think he met my grandmother ,Eva Everett, in Water Valley, Ms.They were married there Nov. 16 1890.I have a copy of their marriage certificate from the 2nd District, Yalobusha County. I my father and some of his brothers and sister were also born there.They later moved to Memphis,Tn. where the younger children were born and where both of my grandparents died. On my grandmother's cert. of death (1955) it states that she was born in Water Valley, MS. and her father's name was Thomas Everett.I don't know her mother's name, but on the 1900 census from Holmes Co. Durant Town,Ms it states that both of her parents were born in MS. I believe my grandmother had a sister by the name of Gertrude Everett(Gertie) and a niece named Maggie Bloom. Some times they spell the name Everett and other times Everette. This is all the information I have on the Everette's. If you every run across anything else please let me know...I will do the same. I am looking for information regarding Julia Elizabeth Everette born April 8, 1855 died March 14 1927 - they lived in Mississippi. They at one time lived in Covington Co because that is where their daughter Della Jane Ramshur was born October 30, 1876, they also had a son Thomas Jefferson Ramshur born Jan 2, 1877. I do not know when she married Henry Ramshur or who her parents are. Henry was born Nov 25, 1852 and he died on March 12, 1917. I am also looking for information on his parents.

I know that it has been a while since I last wrote you. Recently I have had a reknewed interest in researching the family back ground. This is due in part by all the work I have seen done with my mother's side of the family (Tamburrino)

It appears that we are related. My father's name is John L (Lafayette). His father was Andrew Franklin Everette, and his mother was Lena May Etheridge. He has a brother S.E.,Kelly, and Joe, and a sister Mary Ellen.

Until I reactivate our other phone my use of the internet is rather limited to late at night, and when my wife, and daughter are out.
