I'm an Everley in the UK. My grandfather was from Wiltshire, where the Everley name derives from, if not from Yorkshire. If you are interested in getting in touch I would love to hear from you.

Chester Co PA

Is anyone working on the Everly / Everley families of Chester Co PA?

The 1820 census of Chester County, West Whiteland Township shows Aaron Everly who appears to have been between 26-45 years of age, a female of about the same age, one male under 10, one male 10-16 and two females under 10.

By 1830 Aaron is now in East Caln. His household is a male 5-10, Aaron who is 40-50, a female 5-10, a female 40-50 and a female 50-60.

Also in 1830 there was a Henry Everly in Chester County, in Coventry Township. His household consisted of one male under 5, one male 20-30, and one male 50-60 (presumably Henry), and one female 5-10, and one female 20-30.

Over in Vincent Township, there is now a Frances Everly. His household contains 1 male 10-15, one male 30-40, and one female who is also 30-40.

Aaron is last found on the 1840 census in East Caln. His household is now one male 15-20, one male 50-60, one female 5-10, and one female 50-60. Frances and Henry have both apparently either moved or died by 1840.

Would appreciate any help sorting out the members of these families.

EVERLY/EVERLEY/REDD Barbara and/or Mary

I'm looking for information about the EVERLY/EVERLEY family of Frederick, MD who moved to Washington County, PA in the late 1700's or early 1800's. My REDD line seems to cross the EVERLYs in a few places. Specifically, I would like any information about Barbara who supposedly married Nathaniel REDD in the 1780's or 90's and Mary B. Everly who supposedly married Andrew REDD in about 1800. Will be happy to compare and share what I have about Redds and Everlys.

Thank you,

Pam (REDD) Warren
rowwarr@aol.com

Do not know if this is relevant: Wm. A Everly m. Anna Geisse in the early 1800s in Philadelphia area. They had two children Adam and Fanny Everly. Everly could be derivated from Eberle or Everley. Fanny married a Lt. Brooks. Anna Geisse's mother was Mary Magdelin Denckla. If any one has further information, please post. Thanks.

Both Frank Everley and his brother Ray are found in the 1930 Sheridan twp, Ottawa Co, Kansas census. I am trying to find when and where they died and where they are buried.
Both were the sons of Marion Evans Everley and Rosa John of Cloud Co., Kansa. Frank was born Oct 1883 and married Clara; Ray was born Sep 1891 and married Vesta.
