Bertha was my great aunt and I remember her well. Dessa (Dessie) was my grandmother. We used to visit her when we made the trip from Ohio to KY. My grandmother was marriede to Ira Cody. Their daughter Ann was my mother. Dessie and Ira (granny and pa to me) had the following children: Mallie, Anna, Ira, Jr., Enoch, Margarine and Truman. I've have just recently stared searching the Eversole farmily and find it very interesting. My GGrandfather Rans (Laranza)Eversole lived close to my grandparents and he was at there place most everyday. What was the name of your book and where can I purchase a copy.
