Everson came to America on the Spes & Fides with his father Andrew in 1866. Then our great, great grandmother and the rest of the kids came over on the "Nor" in 1867 Through Quebec then settled in St. Croix County Wisconsin. E.W. Everson came to North Dakota chatted up Betsey at the cafe in a small town West of Valley City and they homesteaded and pioneered in Walum, North Dakota. E.W. Everson served as the justice of the peace and served three terms as a Representative and defeated the socialist squirrel Non Partisan League in 1921 recalling the very first Governor in USA history! Edwin and Sylvia's farm is where I call my field of dreams! A magical place that if heaven does not resemble, I will not be sticking around long! You will find me among the creek catching crawfish and catching gophers in the sheep pasture.
