I have ancestors by the name of Reimund that were in the Urbana, Champaign area. One is Solomon Reimund who from what I can glean, was a candy maker in Urbana. His father is John Reimund who also show in the census and in the history of the county and city of Urbana.
I am new to doing research and have found but not sent for information from the Champaign County Historical and Genealogical Index. I found the info. that I have on line under "The Urbana Free Library". I am not aware of very much but would be gald to help in any was I can
