I'm not related to the Ewald's except through a connection and I have been doing a Heidke family tree, for one of that family. I'm quite happy to share what I have, you may have more than I do!! But it seems it is the same family. Carl Ewald's mother was Caroline Lunbagh or Limberg, Carl's sister, Johanna married a Heidke and that is how the connection came about. Regards Sonny
