Surnames: Ewe,Bax, Holder, Crowder, Tomlin, Greenway, Owens, Schumacher
Hello!
Actually, I am searching for the surname of Ewe. However, I have came to belive that Ewe was shortened from some other surname. As I have been searching for about 8 years and have came across no other Ewe.
My Charles "Ewe" was born in Prussia in 1842. He came to the "States" in 1864 and died in 1910. I cannot find him coming over, and I cannot find him at all until he showed up St. Louis, MO.
He married Louisa Drescher and moved to Madison County, IL to a little town named Peter Station. They had 5 children.
If not Ewen, what other names could I try. Any help would be great!
