Another resource for research is the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) Genealogical Research System available at www.dar.org/library/online_research.cfm Before you click on the link “Click Image to Open GRS,” please note the descriptive paragraphs for the various “tabs” which are used in the GRS.

Maxcey Ewell has been verified as a Revolutionary War Patriot, and descendants are eligible for membership in the DAR.

"The Ewells in America and Some Allied Families 1635-1990" is available online at http://contentdm.lib.byu.edu/cdm4/document.php?CISOROOT=/FH1...

VaLene Ewell Collings' Ewell family website is at http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~ewell/ All researchers are invited to provide sourced research to that website for the benefit of all.

There is a Yowell/Ewell DNA Project in which some may want to get involved.

It benefits all researchers to collaborate and share information.

I am a descendant of Maxcey Ewell through his son David Ewell.
