OK, GG Aunt Luella says there was a Private William Ewen who fought in the War of 1812, in the company of Capt. Daniel F Reeder, from Sep. 14, 1812 - Oct. 14, 1812. He was living in Ohio at the time, and other relatives say he fought in this war. She wrote that she's positive this is Timothy Ewen's son. (Timothy Ewen - Immigrant Ancestor, m. Sarah Stearns 10/7/1789, near Brownsville (Redstone), PA.)

So this William Ewen would be my GGGG Uncle.

I am descended from his sister Amelia Ewen (b 10/15/1801, Montgomery Co., KY), who married Charles Trussel Harris (b 1/17/1797, Montgomery Co, KY). They are the parents of my GGG Grandmother Nancy Elizabeth Harris Moore.
