I am researching my ancestors, the Ewers. The oldest ancestor I can trace our family to is Henry Ewer, born in 1570 in England. He married Sarah Lynell.Their son Thomas was born in 1634 in England.He migrated to America and the family lived in the Plymouth,MA. area for several generations. He married Hannah Lothrop. Their son Thomas II, was born in 1663. He married Elizabeth Lovell. Their son Thomas III,was born in 1686. H married Reliance Tobey. Their son Thomas IV was born in 1726. His wife is unidentified. HIs son Thomas V was born in 1750. He married Lydia Harlow. Their son Thomas VI birthdate is unknown. He married Elizabeth russell. Their son Thomas VII was born in 1802 in New York. He married Elizabeth Northern . The family moved to Wisconsin.They had a daughter Lucey born in 1843. Lucey married Alva Helmer.
