Hi Joe, Found your posting and thought you might be interested to know that your Mary Catharina Moors from Bonenburg Westfalen, Preussen was born 29 Dec 1852, Her father was Lewis Moors born 23 Apr 1819 in Scherfede , died 7 july 1893 (could have been known as Ludwig Moers)
Lewis was married to Anna MAria Haurand also born Scherfede and died in Brooklyn NY.
I have been looking at the Haurand family as my German family were also from Scherfede and link up. My family names are Schafmeister, Loss, Ernst. This info was found in Ancestry and familysearch.org
