Do you know what the F. stands for in William F. Ewers? My gg and ggggrandfathers where William Fenton Ewers. One died in 1899 (I think) in Springfield, Missouri. Other information you have doesn't match though. Is it possible to email a photo of the death certificate? Do you know when your Ewers came to America? Do you have any connections to Loudoun County, Virgainia or Pennsylvania or Barnstable, Mass.?
