thank you for this information! i found today the death certificate for my grandfather joseph J Ewers, and it said he was born october 19,1916. five months diference as your records show? could this still be the same? i did not get the copy, or other information, as it cost money, but i think this could be the best link i have. as you said there werenot, and still are not many Ewers' around, i thank you so much for this information! if you could let me know more i will be very,happy thanks. do you know if there were other children? i mean did this joseph you refer to have brothers or sisters? any hel pwould be greatly appreciated!
