MANSFIELD: Timothy Alyn Ewers, 54, of Mansfield, Ohio died Sunday, December 16, 2012 at Riverside Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.
Born June 17, 1958 in Mansfield, he was the son of Kenneth R. and Helen (Kinney) Ewers.
An area resident his entire life, he graduated from Madison High School in 1976 and worked for Jay Industries for 29 years and most recently worked for Cardington Yutaka Technologies Inc.
He enjoyed traveling, hunting, boating, riding motorcycles, model trains and playing guitar with his nephew Dakota. He was especially proud of his 125 gallon fish tank filled with African Cichlids.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda C. Bond Ewers whom he married August 28, 2008; two sons, Mike Ewers and Todd Ewers both of Mansfield; grandchildren, Ashton and Elizabeth Ewers; two step children, Gary C. (Chivas) Bond and Sequoia L. Bond both of Mansfield; a sister, Dorothy L. (Ewers) Wolf of Mansfield; two brothers, Kenneth L. (Kay) Ewers of Perrysville and Edward E. (Vivian) Ewers of Mansfield; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Larry L. and Darrell R. Ewers; a sister, Beverly A. (Ewers) McKown; and an infant sister, Eva Ewers.
