Raymond Allen Ewing, a distant cousin, found the marriage license dated 4/28/1889 for Daniel C. EWING, 21yr old, born Heath Twp., PA, son of Thomas & Elizabeth Ewing, listed as a laborer. He married Bertha CAMPBELL, 20, born in Wisconsin, daughter of Seyrus & Charlotte CAMPBELL, listed as a housekeeper. He found another marriage license dated 12/21/1900 for Daniel C. EWINGS, born Heath Twp., son of Thomas & Elizabeth EWINGS, listed as a days worker, divorced 11/13/1899 from previous marriage, cause - desertion. The second marriage was to Sarah Anna ASEL. Elizabeth's name was actually Hannah Elizabeth. We have no clue as to Hannah's maiden name or of the parents of Thomas. EWING and EWINGS seemed to be used interchangeably in this family for a couple of generations.Can anyone help?
