Dear Carol, Thank you for your prompt reply. Unfortunately I have little information on the family. The three sons, Henry, Thomas and ? were supposed to be involved in the fishing trade. Henry and Thomas travelled to South Africa on route to Australia. Thomas stayed in South Africa and Henry trvelled on to Australia, presumably for the goldrushes. Henry's occupation was listed as sailor. His parents are recorded as William and Elizabeth Clark. I had an Email from Kate Ewles saying she had information however I have never received the information. Hope to hear from you soon. Caimein

I have five main families of Ewles. John is a common name and <br>i have a few. Most of the are from the Reedham, Gorleston area some are still there some in the states and some in Canada. If you send me mre information maybe I can place your family and add your information to the family and join us few of us. So far the families although coming from the same area and at the same time are not link and I am sure with a few more names this can be remedied.
To connect us, I really wish, one of these days the right people will have the missing link, there are two other families I have lots on from the same area, mine included. I have the name of every Ewles I can get my hands on in my files, sadly still not enough to put us all together. I have a fair bit on this family too much to handle here without a lot of typing. How much do you have? I can send you what I have if you give me your e-mail address and if you can handle an rtf. file or maybe I can put it on my home page for a bit and you can print it out from there. Please let me know how and maybe you can add to my file or correct what is not correct. that I would appreciate because all my files are off the internet with no guarantees as to all the information being 100% correct.
