This sharing of Ewys is always difficult because of the in marrying of names.
My paternal grandmother is Theresa Ewy:
Her parents are Eugenia Ewy and Henry Ewy (bn: 1872)(cousins twice removed? or something like that).

Following Henry Ewy's line is where I connecte with everyone in this discussion:
Jacob Ewy bn: 13 May 1844 dd: 2 Oct 1926 (photo available)
I found this in the Minnesota Death Index. He married Margaretha Schmidt in 1869.

His children:
Suzanna Ewy (10 June 1870 - 15 May 1955) md Peter Ewy (1865 - 1960) My great grandmother Eugenia's brother) Photo available.

Henry Ewy (30 Jul 1872 - 17 Apr 1903)- my great grandfather. photo available.

Gustav Jacob Ewy (21 Mar 1875 - 25 Dec 1955) md Elizabeth Bachman

John Ewy (1877 - ?)

Elizabeth "Lizzy" Ewy (8 Oct 1879 - 1 Jul 1957) md Leonard Grien - photos of both available

Emilia Ewy (1881 - ?) md Fred Grien photos available

Jacob Ewy (22 June 1884 - 24 Sep 1975) md Meta Herman photo of Jacob available.

Lottie Ewy (23 Jun 1887 - 4 Jul 1965) md John T Brust - no photos

Peter Ewy (26 Nov 1889 - 20 Nov 1956) md Selma Vogel - no photos

Katherine E "Katie" Ewy (1893 - 2 Jul 1982) md John Phillip "Jack" Quillin - No photos.

Keeping these Ewy's straight is a real headache.

Terri
my email if you want any of these scanned photocopies of photos is terri1251us@yahoo.com

Peter Ewy would have been my husband's grandmother's cousin. I do not have any photos. Maybe someone else researching the Ewys will have some. I hope so. Kathy

Terri,
Are you talking about the Jacob Ewy born 1844 or his father that was born 1809 and died 1889 in Minnesota? Either way I would like to know more about Jacob Ewy and family and have a photo of him. Could you please send photo to me at pensper@[at]gmail.com or maybe you can attach a file to this? I'm thinking you are referring to the Jacob Ewy listed on this page -
http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~mnmurray/faith.htm

I'm researching Jacob's sibling Barbara and their parents Jacob and Barbara Albert Ewy. Thanks much, Kathy

I don't think I have any of Peter. Most of the pictures I have of the Ewy's came from my cousin and he doesn't like to scan photos, so all I was able to get were photocopies of photos. I don't have many of Henry's siblings. If I come up with anything, I'll post them.
