I have had some degree of sucess tracing some of my family since I started 4 years ago, but I am still trying to find if there are any links between the EXETERS from Sevenoaks area , & the EXETERS from Dartford area. Any information that anyone can supply would be gratefully accepted.

I am also trying to trace a great aunt of mine, May Exeter, born in Seal Chart ca 1881, but I am unable to find anything on her.

Hello Anne.
I have been in touch with Tom Driver, but like you recently tried to contact him again and the e-mail was rejected.

However, as you can see I am an Exeter, but so far I have only been able to trace my family back to the Sevenoaks area of Kent. There are still a lot of Exeters in the Dartford Area but I cannot find any connections yet. So far I have gone back to 1705.

If you have any info on Exeters I would be glad to exchange info with you. Perhaps some of my info on Sevenoaks Exeters would be of use to you.

I know of an Emily Exeter (widowed) born 1837, with a son Thomas Harry, born 1865. These are relatives of mine. I have sent you an e-mail with more details!

My Grandfather was Frank Hubert Exeter 1912-2001 in Dartford. He married Vera Prescott in 1940/1.

If anyone knows of Exeters in Dartford please let me know - it's a very rare surname!

My Grandfather died last year - Frank Hubert Exeter b 1912.

His family goes back a bit in Dartford, Kent.

It's quite a rare surname so if your Exeters are so close to mine, there could be a link.

My uncle, Michael Exeter, is now living with his Exeter clan in Gravesend.
