      <description>The Seattle Sunday Times&lt;br&gt;Sunday, December 20, 1908&lt;br&gt;Page 13, Column 1&lt;br&gt;Seattle Man Dies At Providence Hospital&lt;br&gt;Thomas E. Eyanson Was Engaged in Conducting Store Here for Several Years&lt;br&gt;Thomas E. Eyanson, President of the Seattle Woolen Mill Company, who presided at 726 Tenth Avenue, died at Providence hospital Thursday night after a protracted illness. Mr. Eyanson was born in Philadelphia October 25, 1836. He married Miss Amanda Reed and took up his residence in Columbia City, Indiana, in which place their children were born and grew to maturity. In 1892 he moved to Seattle, built the woolen mill at Kirkland and established the wholesale and retail store at 1117 First Avenue. His wife died eleven years ago and he is survived by his son, E.W. Eyanson; his daughter, Mrs. John Eason of Seattle and Mrs. C.R. Johnston, the wife of Dr. Johnston of Indianapolis, also by seven grandchildren. Mr. Eyanson was of Revolutionary ancestry, belonged to the Sons of the American Revolution and the pallbearers will be members of that organization. The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the cathedral and interment will be at Calvary Cemetery. </description>
