Hi Matt....Eagle Speed was from memory, but will have to dig through my archives to clarify.
Researching this family was hugely challenging, it was full of half truths, skeletons and outright lies.
I am the granddaughter of Elsie Muriel Birkbeck, (Ellen and Peter's daughter) and started my research with my aunt, Una Ellen Hunt, who actually remembered her grandmother, Ellen jnr.
Anyhow, I do have masses of information, primary source documents etc and have written out the (factual) history....even some of the primary source documents contained untruths, so it was a huge challenge to unwind the facts.
