It looks like I am getting our side of the Eyman family nailed down to Abraham Jacob born 25 February, 1829 in Palatine (in German:"Rheinpfalz") and was Married 1851 in Germany Margaretha to Susan Born (B: 1826 ,D:1865). They apparently had six children, one of whom was Christian Eyman 2nd.

He was later married to a second Wife: Susan Spory (B 26.4.1845 ,Germany, D:25.3.1922 in Los Angeles) Married :May 1866 in Hancock Co, Illinois. They had four children and all appear to have been girls.

This US Census of 1870 confirms the second wife as in the household at the time of the census in Hancock County, Illinois.

Abraham born about August 1830 also in Palatine (Bavaria which was part of Germany then) had a brother which some information is known and passed down orally and in a now lost family bible and his name was Christian Eyman, 1st and was married to Frederika (Eyman) but I don’t have her maiden name. He is also listed in the 1870 US Census in Hancock County Illinois.

One of Abraham’s children Albert Eyman born 1860 (my great grandfather) and married to Sarah Elizabeth Hagans had four children one of whom was Arthur Earl Eyman born 1891(my grandfather) and married to Florance Mabel Hardin who had three sons one of whom Silbert Eyman born 1911 and who was my father.

I would appreciate any information on this line of the Eyman’s that anyone may have.
