There are remains of an old village along the east bank of the Allegheny River (right aside the old railroad bed) in Madison Township, Armstrong County. This would be above Templeton heading in the direction of East Brady if you would follow the railroad.
This old village was called Gray's Eddy. And that is as much as i know.
i work for the Allegheny Valley Land Trust and the Rails to trails Ass.
i am trying to gather interesting information as well as history along the Armstrong trail (old railraod bed) for those who travel it can see.
i have failed finding anything and then i stumbled across this (ansetry website) with a hit of someone looking for family from that very place. so i am not really looking for family but information about that village
