In the 1970's Helen who at that time was in her mid 60's told my mom that she was not her aunt but her birth mother and had given her up for adoption. My sister and I believe Helen actually gave our mom to her mother (Cora) and was raised by her. Therefore Cora was quite a bit older and had long passed before we were born. Does that make sense ?
