The Eyre members that were part of the cromwell type invasion of Ireland were from the Wiltshire family of Giles Eyre, of Brickworth.they were John, who was the first Eyre of Eyrecourt and his younger brother Edward.

There is a reasonably good account of this family in a book "Signpost to Eyrecourt" by Ida Gantz.It gives a reasonable liniage of the family, but is somewhat short on the junior and female members. It would be a great starting point.
