The only problem I have is that in all the census relating to Robert (and his wife Sarah Jane Langbridge) was that he was born in Leeds in 1844, not Hull. I appreciate the years can sway a bit either side, but its the birthplace that throws a spanner in the works. He was a coal miner that's for sure as was his son George.
