George W Eyre, 91st PA (Civil war), Philadelphia, PA, d. 1862
I'm looking for information about George Eyre, who served as Quartermaster of the 91st Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry from 1861-1862.
He died on 31 December 1862, in Philadelphia, and was buried in West Laurel Hill Cemetery.
His mother, Mary A Eyre, successfully applied for a pension on 23 March 1863.
I haven't been able to find him in the 1850 or 1860 census.
The information I have about him is available on my 91st Pennsylvania webpage at:
http://freepages.military.rootsweb.com/~pa91/peyreg1.html
I'd be happy to receive corrections or additional information!
Thanks
Harry
