Cora EZEKIEL of SC b 1888 d 1980 & wed Earl "Sawyer" SANFORD

Does anyone have any info on a Cora Ezekiel, born 8-30-1888 in South Carolina? She died 1-1-1980, and she was married to Earl "Sawyer" Sanford, born 11-27-1887 in South Carolina. I'm also looking for info on him. Any help on this couple would be appreciated.

I am looking for information on any ancestors of Aaron E. Ezekiel, who was born on June 3, 1872, in Carbon Hill, Alabama. He married Elizabeth Caddell (Cattell) about 1897. She was born September 4, 1881, also in Alabama, I believe. They both died in Oklahoma. I would appreciate anything I can find about this couple.

I'm searching for more info on my g-g-g-g-g-grandfather Alexander Ezekiel [White/Caucasian]. I found him and his children in the 1850 US Federal Census: State: Alabama County: Coosa District: Hatchett Creek Dwelling/House: 341

Alexander Ezekiel, 32 year old male, a ferryman, born in South Carolina [dob: 1818]
[Wife] Ann Unknown, 32 year old female [dob: 1818]
[Child] Wiley, 12 years of age, born in South Carolina [dob: 1838]
[Child] Thomas, 10 years of age [dob: 1840] [my g-g-g-g-grandfather]
[Child] Malinda, 7years of age, born in South Carolina [dob: 1843]
[Child] Pegganumna, 5 years of age, born in Georgia [dob: 1845]
[Child] Bridget, 3 years of age, born in Alabama [dob: 1847]
{Child] Pungyow, 4 months of age [dob: 1850 prob. born the month of July in Alabama]

I copied the childrens names exactly the way they appeared on the census. WHAT SOME WIERD NAMES! This is the extent of my knowledge concerning the names mentioned with exception of Thomas Ezekiel.

Thomas Ezekiel was born 6 Jan 1840 and died Apr 1926. He is buried with his wife, Martha Emily Baxley, in the Baxley Family Cemetery located between Marble Valley and Unity, Coosa Co., Alabama. Martha Emily Baxley is the widow of Samuel Joseph Guy and dau. of William Pressley Baxley, Sr. and Mary Ann "Polly" Morris.

Children of Thomas and Martha Ezekiel (not in order of birth): Henry B., John, Rufus A., Nannie Ann, James Columbus.

I would be grateful to hear from someone with more information beyond Thomas Ezekiel. And I will share all my info from Thomas and his decendants.

EZEKIEL, EZECHIEL in England

Hello,

I'd be very interested if anyone had any information about the very few Ezekiel/Ezechiels in England.

My connection is that my great great grandfather was Isaac Ezechiel who lived in Plymouth, in Devon in the 1840's. I believe he may be related to two brothers (who possibly
came from Newfoundland??) and settled in England. their names were Solomon and Abraham Ezekiel. Despite the name my g g grandfather was, I believe, not Jewish but Catholic but I don't know much else about him or
the family or the name!

Absolutely any information would be cherished!!!

Hi Sheri, I was delighted to see your messages for info. Try Uncle Bill Ezekiel. He has the original naturalization papers.
It lists everyone Aunt Grace, Ann, Rose & my dad John born in Camden, NJ. Your cousin Beth took a fact finding vacation to Newfoundland and confirms that it is full of Ezekiels & Fewers. My grandmom Anna Ekes Mayer arrived here 6-18-1901 at age 17. Her sister Theresia on 11-12-1901. Found info under "ellis island records". A Ladislav Mayer (spelling?) arrived 10-24-1905. States residence as Austria,Bohemia?
Very unsure of this one. Haven't found another yet.

I am trying to find any information that I can on Carol Ann Ezekiel.

I was born Lisa Ann Ezekiel, August 1, 1969 In St. Johns, Newfoundland. My biological mother was stated as Carol Ann Ezekiel, and father unknown. I do know that she was 18 when she had me, so that would put her birthdate around 1951. She also has a sister that is younger than her, and parents came from Wales. Her father was a coal miner in Wales before coming to Canada. She had light brown hair and green eyes, was 5'7" and 135 lbs when she had me.

I'd love to know if I have any half brothers or sisters out there. My fiance and I are currently working on a family tree, and my side has no branches. I was adopted at about 15 months old, and grew up in NJ. I have two beautiful children...William Awstin is 3 1/2 years old, and Kimberly Alexandria is almost 15 months.
