hello, my name is abraham fabela. i am the son of abraham manuel fabela and grandson of manuel fabela. art is my uncle and hope and stone are my first cousins. grandpa was born i believe around 1907 in culiacan or durango mexico. shortly before his death, in 1983 , my mother, my twin brother and myself visited him. i was only 13 or 14 at the time but i asked about the family history. he talked about a lady named gorgonia cervantes. she could have been is mother or grandmother. he also mentioned a man named priciliano fragoso. i dont know if this was his grandfather or what. he and his brothers came to california to work the fields when he was a teenager. he had brother named juan(john) and another one named pablo(paul). there were other siblings i know. one ended up in el paso, texas i beleive and a sister who moved to south america. my grandfather and his brothers ended up in the salinas valley. where he met my grandmother mary castillo. there is a lot of family in northern california.
