My father name is Eustolio Fabela born in Durango Mexico. He was born to Inslom born & Zanietr Fabela. He as 3 sister - Juanita, Victoria, Bretha. 4 brothers - Pablo, Jesus(Nati), Amador, Damitero. He married my mother Eva Rocha they had 4 boys - Jessie, Juan, Richard, Paul. 4 daugthers Paula, Alicia, Maria, Josphine. We live in South Bay in the city of Wilmington, CA.

my grandfather last name was fabela. From Durango Mexico. Most of my family are from baja california. We Also found Fabelas in los angeles one time in a little kid's birthday, and their family album had my grandfather in it. Who is your grand father?

My name is Miguel Fabela. I live in Houston, but was born in Los Angeles. My father's name is Juan Fabela. He was born in Porvenir, Mexico. Porvenir is a small town south of Juarez near El Paso, Texas.

This is so cool!!!! I'm from Monterrey, Mexico my immidiate family still there my Dad is from Gomez Palacio, Durango and as far as I know all his immidiate family live in Dallas, Houston, IL. My Grandma Rosa Fabela just passed away a few mo ago in Farmers Branch, TX.
I know that for some reason my Dad changed Favela to Fabela.

Hello. Recently I found out my great grandmother's last name was Fabela. Lorenza Fabela. She was probably born around 1910 or so. Lorenza Fabela married a Ramirez, and then my grandma also married a Ramirez. There is a lot of family down in Crystal City, Texas, but I think that is my grandpa's family. There are also a lot of us up in Chicago and Milwaukee. I am not sure where Lorenza was born but I think it was in Texas. I had never heard this name before so I looked here to investigate its meaning, ancestry, etc. Anyway, thought maybe someone would know our family somehow. 8)

Your grandfather must be my great grandfather cousin then. My great grandfathers name was Samuel T. Fabela. His sister is Helen Fabela (who was married to Cesar Chavez).

i have only met one other fabela family. my fathers family is from durango mexico one thing i have noticed is that all of then family is extremely lightskinned they say the name is of european descent. does anyone know anything about this?

Hello you guys. My last name is Fabela too and ive always thought that I was the only Fabela, ive never met any other Fabela anywhere. My dad was born in Monterrey, Mexico and his dad was called Cruz Fabela. Hopefully one of y'all can shed some light on my ancenstry or if any of us are related in any way.

My great-grandfather's name was Teodoro Favela and his wife was Margarita Perez. His grandson (my dad) was born in Refugio, Durango.

Also did research while in Spain.Located a town in southern
Portugal named "Favela". The outskirts of Rio De Janeiro are
also called "favelas".My grandfather was Manuel Sacramento
Fabela(07/08/07 Durango).Baptism recs.read "Favela".Around 1922 him and 4 or 5 brothers passed through El Paso.One brother stayed there and the rest came to the Salinas area.
Brothers names include Urbano,Pablo,Juan.Others stayed in
Mex. and a sister immigrated to S. America I was told. Parents: Priciliano Favela and Gorgonia Cervantes. PLEASE

When I went to Spain a couple of years ago, I was told it was a Portugese sur name that meant beautiful flowers. I am not sure how accurate it is, but I hope it helps.

Hi! We've swapped a couple of e-mails about a year back about being Fabellas and that my father and his family was from Romblon Philippines. I have swapped e-mails with Flora Fabella Wells who had been inquiring as well and I have traced our 2 lineages together. If I'm correct, she is my father's 2nd degree cousin.

I am looking for any information on the Fabela families of La Cruces, New Mexico. I have a Lazaro Fabela married to Rafaela or Refugio Lauzarin and cannot find a thing on them.They had three daughters that we know of: Francisca, Juana, and Maria Aurelia. Maria Aurelia was born 14 jun 1893 in Cuencame, Durango, Mexico and died 13 jan 1980 in Las Cruces. She married Jose Santiago Sierra 12 nov 1910.

I have a Maria Aurelia Fabela who married Jose Santiago Sierra on 12 nov 1910 in Durnago, Mexico, but I cannot find her ancestry. Yes, thats our family, If Trinidad was you father, Connie Blaylock is your Sister, I actually live about three miles from Connie in Start. We see each other all the time. I also Know Brenda, Laura, and David. But I don't see them as often. I have always wondered about Grandpa Pauls Family, I'm the baby and he died before I could remember. I am also a Fabela, I live in Illinois but my dad came here from Mexico when he was 16. If we are at all related, I have some interesting stuff to tell you about lineage. One of our (possible, dont yet know if we are related) Grandfathers was Pancho Villas right hand man. Yes, the records go back that far and we have copies here in our Hampshire Estate. We (again, I dont know for sure if were actually related) also have something of a famous relative in Mexico/Spain, she does novelas.
