Michael preceded her in death in April 1980; as well as a daughter, Yvonne Mornac-Smith who passed away April 15, 1969. She belonged to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Simi Valley, California, until moving to Albuquerque. She considered her hobby as raising six children, also being blessed with nine grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. Rose enjoyed playing the piano, singing hymns, reading her favorite book, The Bible. She had the 91st Psalm memorized.
