Mary Fabiano

I am looking for family information regarding my Great Grandmother Mary Fabiano. She was born in 1877 (approx.) in Italy and married Frank Panza in 1897 (approx.) also in Italy. They immigrated to the United States in 1900 and eventually settled in Sharpsburg, Pennsylvania. They had a total of 9 children including Cora (Tedeschi), Carmella (Salaben), Raymond, Marion (aka Frank), Josephine (Lupinacca), Mary (Kassouf), and 3 children that died. Most of the family eventually settled in the Cleveland, Ohio area. If anyone has any information, you can e-mail me direct at MiChDaw@AOL.com

Thanks,
Cheryl

George Frederick Fabiano

I am starting to do research on my husbands family. His grandmother was Helen Margaret Fabiano. Her parents were George Frederick Fabiano and Maria Catarino. From what I understand so far, the family came to america before 1915 as Helen Margaret was the only child of seven to be born in the United States. I believe Maria Catarino's family was originally from SanPalo, Italy and I have no other information than this. If anyone can help I can be e-mailed at Mavesheart@lycos.com

Thanks, Leigh

Within the next few months my wife and I are planning a trip to Italy. It would be wonderful if I could visit where my family came from. I understand this is a shot in the dark.

I am a teacher and writer who lives on the southern coast of Maine USA. If anyone is interested in viewing some of my work I am all over the web under: J.G. Fabiano.

That is it for now.

jim

Fabian, Fabbiani, Fabiano in CT and VT

I am looking for information on the Fabbiani family. The surname has since changed to Fabian and I have seen some spellings of Fabiano. I am a descendant of Arganto Fabbiani b. abt. Aug 1858 in Italy. In 1900 Arganto and his wife Crolinda Dellamio were living in Proctor, Vermont. I know of some of their children, not sure if I have them all. Their daughter Mary was my Great Grandmother. Other children were Philip Fabian b. 13 Dec 1877, Clara Fabian b. Nov 1895, Edward, Francis and Emily.

If anyone has any information about this family (siblings of Arganto or their children) it would be appreciated. I know that Arganto immigrated in 1883 and his wife and 3 of their children were born in Italy. The rest were born in Proctor, Vermont and moved to New Haven, CT. Mary Fabian married Pasquale Piacentini (Pacenti).

Thanks
Christopher Yorke
Fabiano from Celico, Italy

I am trying to create a family tree of my great grandmother's family. She is now 96 years old and I thought I should get as much info from her now since she is getting on in age. She was born in Celico, Italy. Her parents were Michael Fabiano and Rose Iocino. I was able to get there birthdays, not years, however, my great grandmother does not know much about her parents family. Her and her parents came to USA in 1909 and settled in Spokane WA. They never returned to Italy so she never knew her relatives. So I am unable to get any further with the family tree with the older generations.

If any one has any information or knows where I could get it, I would really appreciate a response.

Thank You
Tara McCrae

Felice and Rosa Fabiano

I am trying to search my husband's side of the family and there are so many Fabiano's that it's hard to tell who is who.

My husband's grandfather was Felice Fabiano, born abt 1877 in Italy. He was married to Rosa Yoglielmo, born abt 1878 also in Italy. They immigrated in 1905 (Felice) and 1907 (Rosa) - according to the 1920 census info.

Felice and Rosa, by 1921 had ten children - Angelica (1901), Mary (1904), Patrick (1907), Louise (1909), Anthony (1910), Francis (1913), Helen (1915), Millie (1916), Florence (1919) and Felice (1921). Felice is my father-in-law.

They are the Fabiano's from Rowland Street in Newark.

If anyone has a link to any of these names, I'd love to hear from you.

Thanks.

Hello Fabianos

Hey there all! I was born in Boston, but Im in school in New Orleans, Louisiana now. My Great Grandfather was Gus Fabiano, his parents came over from San Sossio deBaronia,Avellino,Italy in the late 1890's, I believe.
I actually got to take a trip to San Sossio a few years ago and a trip to the town hall revealed an entire municipal government sharing our surname. The mayor was Luigi Fabiano, as I remember.
