I have met 3 other Fabre families in my travels. I was born in Cuba and I am 3rd generation Cuban. My ancestors came from the province of Catalunya in Spain. The Cataloian Province of Spain straddles the Pyrennees and was formed to celebrated the mariage of the King of Spain to one of the French Louis'. I have met a black Fabre in the army also from LA. and a red headed Fabre in Puerto Rico. It's a small world!
