My wife's paternal grandmother who lived in Yauco, Puerto Rico had the last name Velez-Fabre. This is my wife's father's (Adrian Claudio) mother ... We were told she or her husband migrated to Puerto Rico from the island of Corsica (French rule) but originally under the rule of Italy (specifically, Genoa) ... My wife would be very happy to receive any information on her family roots because presently she has no information on her genealogy (including her mother's family).
