My grandfather, Max Gross arrived in this country in 1906. He came here from Hungary. Father's name was Herman and mother's name was Bertha Schaffer (Schiffer)? I would appreciate any information you might have. Supposedly he and my grandmother, Ethel Schaffer, were first cousins. Lived in Youngstown, Ohio when they were first married, in 1909. Anything sound familiar?
