Classification: Query
Surnames: Fabrizzio,Fabrizio, Fredericks, Altieri, D'Onofrio
When my g.gm Carolina nee Donofrio came to NY in the late 1800s w/my 4 yr old gm, she quickly married a Serafino Fabrizzio in NYC and they had 4 children; Harry (killed in France in WW1), James, Josephine and Clarence. To Americanize themselfes they changed the last name from Fabrizzio to Fredericks; these 4 children were all born w/the last name of Fredericks. They grew up in New Rochelle, NY.
My grandmother Giovanna from the 1st marriage in Italy was born a Altieri. I know that some of the Altieris on their ship went lived in Bridgeport, conn.
Does anyone know of these people??
I cannot find where my g.gm Carolina is buried.
