James Facer family of Seneca County, New York

James FACER, farmer, was born in New York state in July 1806, son of Charles H. & Rebecca (Davis) Facer; the latter lie in rest in Maplewood Cem., Pavilion, Genesee co., NY. James was married to Eliza Ann, daughter of Thomas & Francina "Fanny" (Christopher) Woodmansee, natives of New Jersey who settled in Varick, Seneca county, where James later farmed. James died 30 May 1858 in Varick. Eliza Ann was born in Feb 1815, and died 13 Mar 1901 in Cleveland, Ohio. She was laid to rest in Seneca Falls, NY.
James and Eliza had the following four children:
1. John W., 27 Aug 1841[calc]-18 Feb 1842, laid to rest in Chas. H. and Rebecca's lot in Maplewood Cem.
2. Seward W., b. 19 Jan 1844, served in Civil War, m. Seneca Falls, 11 Jan 1871, Helena Harriet Underhill (1847-1917). Seward d. 29 Sep 1873. Two ch., neither married.
3. Helen E., (1845-1864), unmarried.
4. Frances R. (Feb 1851-25 Jan 1901), schoolteacher, unmarried, moved with mother to Cleveland, Ohio, before 1880.
